She graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ, in December 1979. She graduated in PhD in Metallurgical Engineering, from Tohoku University, Japan, in March 1987.

During her graduation in Japan, she met her husband, who was doing a PhD in Electronic Engineering and is now Director of the Faculty of Information Technology at TNI - Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology - and moved to Bangkok, Thailand.

She taught at the Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand, for 18 years.

Of Catholic religious origin, she came to develop spiritually through other religions.

She was a member of Seicho-no-Ie.

Subsequently, she became a member of Sukyo Mahikari, being one of those responsible for the foundation of the Thai center and served as a director of the Dojo in Bangkok for 3 years.
